Lyfe is Dope is an unrivaled experience that combines Musicians, Dancers, Painters & DJs in the same room. Started in Memphis 2013, the Jam Session moves across the country to make its west coast debut. David Parks (bassist, Jason Derulo) & DJ Dnyce (iHeart Radio affiliate) curate a night full of the best that the culture has to offer. Lyfe is Dope was started to create a comfortable environment for all artists to express themselves. The night will feature a collection DJs, industry leading musicians, as well as dance segments. Throughout the night there will be two dance cyphers that take place. The first being a freestyle portion, and the second being a Memphis Jookin segment, featuring true pioneers of the art form. The 12 piece super group, The Brandon Brown Collective, headline the live music portion of the jam packed evening. The enigmatic Theophilus London also makes an appearance, as he debuts new songs from the album BEBEY. We specialize in all thing DOPE.
